I just picked up a Rockford Fosgate RFQ-1401 4-Band Car Equalizer off a buddy of mine. and I want to know if it is worth installing? and if there is a link on how to install it. Any help would be great

 

Waste of time, it's just a bass trebble and midrange boost, you can't fine tune anything with that.

I wouldn't waste my time with it.

sounds like it will work

 

it doesn't give you many tuning options so it doesn't have a lot of tuning capability. It could luck out at hit the frequencies you need but that would be unlikely. It is probably worth the $ you paid for it

 

If I cant find a 30band one, I guess I can install this for the time being, wouldn't hurt to do so. But how exactly do you install it? it has 3 wires out the back a Black, Light Blue, and a Yellow with 2x4 RCA ports.

 

im looking for a dual 30band cant find one but i do find 30 bands tho. kicker has one, eclipse,, forgot the couple others..

black is ground. light blue is your remote turn on. and yellow is the power to the yellow on the harness begind the deck... just extend the wire to reach it
