Hey guys,

I bought a 2006 Pontiac Pursuit last year and am wanting to put in a new head unit. Specifically the new Pioneer AVIC-F700BT for the GPS and also I will be hooking Sirius up to it. This is my first time every modifying a vehicle so I want to confirm all these parts before I make a big purchase. Unfortunately, having a car like the Pontiac Pursuit leaves very little information out there. It has the Pioneer sound system and no OnStar. All I know for sure is that is has the GM-LAN bus.

Ok, So here's what is currently on my list. Since no websites list a Pursuit, I used a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt to find parts because I think they are basically the same vehicle. I'll link the parts from Crutchfield.

Now here's where I get unsure. If I select 2007 Pontiac G5 (Pursuit was renamed G5), it tells me to get this part to bring back the factory warning charms:

But with a 06 Chevy Cobalt, it says get the PAC C2R-GM11B part, slightly different: Link

So will this equipment work? Will it be all I need? Basically the HU, Kit, Antenna adaptor and Wiring harness along with a part to bring back factory warning charms.

Any help for this rookie would be greatly appreciated!
