Uniformity not to mention a 10 will play higher and a 12 will play lower so you will have different frequencies being played, especially off the same amplifier might not sound all the best.

ya, you'll have some freq's where all the drivers are playing and will be loud, but on the high and lower end will be quieter because only half of your speakers will be playing those freq's.
