Ford 91 Explorer
#1
As most of you know and or gathered I've retired my Escort GT last year and replaced it with an Explorer.
During this last cold snap I'm getting problems with the factory sub. Now I'm thinking of just relacing it with somthing cheap to get me through the winter till I have more time to create an replacement. Can the sub be taken out and replaced? Or do I have to build another encloser?
Eventualy I was going to replace all the speakers. From what I know its all Ford/ JBL factory including the 60 and 85w amp.

Got real lucky today and found an wreaked Explorer with an JBL system in it. For $20 I got the hole package both amps and sub with the encloser. 1 hr of time and I was back up and running. Just had to unplug 1 and plug the other in it's place. Now I have an extra system I can play with and take my time. I'll get the new sub ( 8" )and some components for this summer. Hey SQ on an budget.
