Ok, so I finally got this CV stroker going and my car was off.. turned the car on..and the fuse blows... Why would it blow if everything was working with the ignition on, but not the engine?
Some background info..

The 150 amp one by my optima yellow top in the engine bay.

internal short in the amp? either that, or there's a dead short in the wiring.

i can imagine the sound a 150 amp fuse makes when it goes, i would check for a short to ground in your man power lead from the battery

I'm with sass... sounds like your amp tried to pull a load of current as soon as it came on....

Don't they have a protection circuit for dead shorts, though ???

150 amp fuse will take 300 amps for 2 full seconds before it blows, that's some serious current. Sounds like a dead short to me...
