Fuses blowing...

Ok, so I finally got this CV stroker going and my car was off.. turned the car on..and the fuse blows... Why would it blow if everything was working with the ignition on, but not the engine?
Some background info..
P-720
Infinity comps
JBL 1200.1
1 12" CV stoker
150 amp fuse
1- 1farad stinger cap
0/1 guage power to distro block to 4 guage to amp

internal short in the amp? either that, or there's a dead short in the wiring.

I'm with sass... sounds like your amp tried to pull a load of current as soon as it came on....

Don't they have a protection circuit for dead shorts, though ???

150 amp fuse will take 300 amps for 2 full seconds before it blows, that's some serious current. Sounds like a dead short to me...
