Good Installers in Hamilton area

Hey guys Im looking for quality installers in the hamilton area.. I need a set of components installed fronts only, 4 channel amp and small sub. Got a quote from a shop and was surprised, above 350 mark. I have all the wires as well. 350, is this price average or is this too high.

Amp: Kenwood Xr4s
Speakers: Hertz energy 6.5" components.

350 doesn't sound that far fetched, as long as they do a good job.

There is a fair amount of work for installing a component set and along with a new amplifier. All new wires have to be ran, tweeters mounted, crossovers mounted.

Call around to your local stores and see what they will charge. You should be able to get it installed for a little cheaper.

Depending on the car you are in the $300-$350 range for install.

Hey guys just a heads up DO NOT go to Soundwaves in hamilton.. They butchered my car and Hertz speakers. Let me tell you, as soon as i got the car back my door would not open. They forgot to install the clip.. Then i realized all the sound was coming from the left door. They obviously did not test it properly, and had the rcas mixed up.

I did not touch any of the settings on the deck after two days of having my hertz ESK components, the mids are blown.. The system wasn't even pushed at all. I decided to take the door panel off to investigate. It turns out they did not cut the hole properly, so the speakers did not sit flush. The drivers door speaker was held in by three screws and they cranked so hard on the screws the metal frame of the speaker was all bent. Not having the speakers mounted flush caused them to move too much.. I thought they would use rings but no. The hole they cut out for the speakers looks like a octagon not circular, you guys should see it. Can't believe what they did.

Also the crossover was barely attached, just hanging there. They broke a door clip and scratched the door panels as well. I will not even go there for anything, took my car to a good quality shop and they laughed at the work. I have learned my lesson.

If you don't want your car or equipment ruined do not go to soundwaves. Try somewhere else. Trust me!! People who have gone there i would double check the work!
