Sounds like it will pound the crap outta that car if you install all that(and the stuff you need to run it, ie electrical )

After the first bass hit, there's gonna be a pile of the old tempo under your car.
You might look into Rattletrap(just cause the name fits) deadener.

wow that's a big change...i say go for the charger and then look at the system. All that stuff in a tempo just seems wrong.

A charger without a system > tempo with 2 BTL 12's on 4k.

lol, so played out unless you do it right. Do it so you just see the glow. Like for amp racks it looks cool.

Yeah it will simply look like you're trying too hard broski.

As for the tempo... to be frank, if it's from 1981, it is simply a bad idea to put serious bass in there; as metal ages, it's stress tolerance decreases exponentially (this is why old metal ships get retired so fast). There is also likely rust in and around bolts and joints. Cars aren't a solid as you'd think - at this age, it might truly fall apart on you if 2btl's ever get inside there.

The cost of the full system would actually pay for a 2006 charger - which is imo a far better investment

I ran 2 12's in a 94 Tempo for a while... It'll fit, but it's a damn tight fit. Those amps are going to be tricky to fit tho, and electrical is a must. Big three is the easiest thing ever to accomplish on these cars, but the alternator is another thing entirely. If it's a 4cyl, I am fairly certain the 5.0 Mustang alternators will swap. Obviously there is a higher volume of 'Stang parts than there is Tempo lol I'd do it simply for the "wtf" factor. I mean, if Pandas and Rabbits are being used for comps, I don't see why a Tempo wouldn't fit right in lol
