Good system, sounds terrible... 3 12" subs w/ MA HK2000D

What? And how fast does electricity move at? Think about it. Can you talk to someone on the other side of the city in real time or is there a massive delay?
To check for out of phase, disconnect one sub and if you magically have more bass response, one sub was indeed wired incorrect.

The phasing, or the fact its a bandpass with super cheap subs :S...Digital which ever , they are ebay subs and "made by audiobahn" I was looking into a set of these for the winter beater, but decided against

out of phase means one or more of youre subs are wired backwards from the other, positive and negative on the subs or amp...
Make sure they are all wired the same pos to pos ,neg to neg, if any are different from eachother it will cause severe lack of bass.

we sell the boxes at the shop I work for.... they pound and definately do not need a 2000 watt amp
make sure all sunbs are wired positive to positive and negative to negative... the subs are all dual 6 ohm wired in series... they will give you a final 4 ohm load!
your amp will produce almost no power at 4 ohms it is a 1ohm mono block... besides that what ever signal you are sending to that box is gonna be extremely distorted because you are cranked on teh gain and bass boost...
get a proffesional to look at the box wiring! and also adjust the amplifier for clean output...
your subs are guaranteed to be out of phase... out of phase means they are fighting each otehr and only exchanging teh presure inside the box instead of all playing in the same direction and causing pressure build up inside the box then being released by the ports to create sound... its kinda like clapping... hands hit togetehr to make a sound... but if you move one hand away when the other is moving towards it it will never make a sound... makes sense?

i dunno i was thinking of something else my bad i had someone that had kind of the same problem but not as bad and it was just cuz he had 1 wire like 5 inches longer then the other so one sub would pound before the other and it just didnt sound loud and sounded really bad at the same time u guys are obviosuly talking about something completly different sorry

Also, we keep getting mixed answers on what the ohms are for the subs. We have read 1 ohm, the box it came in says impedance 4 ohm mono, and now you are saying its 6 ohms.. which is it? lol Also it says its single voice coil, when there are clearly 2 sets of terminals... can anybody explain this?
