grounding issue?
hey gents,
has anyone experienced hearing the engine come through your speakers?
i heard it could be a grounding issue but all my grounds are connected to teh frame. all areas of paint were scretched off when installed.
is there something else that i could be missing?
much appreciated
thanks!

how is the battery grounded? Use the same guage wire from the frame to the battery, you could also do the same for the engine to the frame. Find a bolt on your engine and run the wire from there to the frame of your car, make sure you have slack so that when the engine tourqes it doesn't pull the wire off.
this may help out, if not it will help the current from your amp/s and engine anyhow.

i guess descriibing my set up would be helpful.
i am running 1 amp for my sub
and 1 amp for my from components
rear components are running off the deck
so at one time you had the front speaker hooked off the deck and eveyrthing was fine . then you added the amp and got noise?.
are you power and rca cables ran side by side the amp?. i would try grounding that amp in a differnt location
