No I cant find the harness .Im still talking to some guys on the jag forums,to see what they did..I might be able to get one of them to ship one to me since they do seem to have them somewhere overthere ...UK...Im told..if not I'll have to splice it in to the oem connector..as to leave it so i can reinstall oem HU if need be.As far as install price ..scince I started this quest ..Ive been told 200 -1200 ...Why is ther so much wiggle room in this industry..I kinda feel like they size me up based on car type and lack of knowledge.I hate to ramble but I dont want my first experience in car audio to sour me.

You will no doubt be on the higher end of the install spectrum and not the low end. Install is what will make it all work. If it is a qualified person giving you the estimate, get it in writing that they will be responsible for any damage they may cause and will provide a warranty on their work, the same as a shop would.
I would think that you do not want someone experimenting on your car. A good shop is not going to have a cheap price. If this were in my bay, without seeing it, you would be landing around the 10 hour mark minimum @ $65.00 hr + the parts necessary. If you are expecting a incredible fit and finish so that it does not look like it just car audio gear put into the vehicle, that will add time as well. Custom box for the sub for example is more expensive than the prefab ones that most people buy. You get what you pay for and the shop or qualified person is the one that will make it all happen. Do not cheap out on install or the best of equipment will not perform anywhere near it's abilities.

For a deck, two amps, subs and components?
That quote is unrealistic regardless of car . . . even if you have all the wires etc and you're just paying for the labour, that quote is off in left field. Either they guy didn't hear all that you wanted installed, or he wanted to get working and find all sorts of additional fees to charge you mid way through the project. Perhaps it's not "wiggle room," but that you have shysters in the room.
connect up with Keith @ www.soundsgood.com. or pm him directly here(sqmonster)I know keith is currently working on a late model jag there right now. similar setup. I know for sure that the trunk design is going to take a little away from the sub, I am also pretty sure they upgraded the deck, they would know what's up....
my guess for it all would be a 7 bills but always remember u get wat u pay for but get them to quote u because alot of times if they charging you by hour especially in such a high end car they are going to run into something that is going to take a long time to figure out which may end up costing you out your *** if they take a long time to figure it out. you may also want to find a shop that has done high end cars before so their first one is not yours so they not experementing on yours... also i would consider looking into private intallers i have found they soemtimes do much better work if it is not a company and just an individual
may want to check with PFAFF in toronto or oakville, they have a shop that does all of their sound work, I know I had a client come to me with Focal K series components and full system that he had done with that shop he said they were located downtown somewhere. (his car was bought at Pfaff so he went to them for recommendations) that said, he came to us looking for help with alt whine.
