head units with usb inputs...

head units with usb inputs...

i've seen this on cheaper models at XS cargo but was wondering if a better brand name offer these. im looking to spend at max $100, min $50.

any recommendations, im getting tired of burning new cds....

Good brand between $50-$100? Nope. XS Cargo is your place if that is your price-point.
If your issue is burning new CDs all the time, have you considered a deck with an aux input? Aux inputs are much more common than USB connections. You'll have more options.

been a month since i've seen the flyer so not sure what brand, just know its there.

as for the aux in cable, that would mean i'd have to get an mp3/ipod right?

Cheapest name brand unit around is most likely the Clarion 365 which is around $165-175cdn.

Or any source with a headphone jack. What were you planning to plug into the USB port?

umm maybe stupid, but a flashdrive, but not sure if itll read it now that i think of it.

from what i understand, Most of the name brand units will read from a flashdrive.
going to have to check specs to be sure though.

That would be nice to have and cheaper than an ipod.

There are better deals out there for usb flash drives. Tigerdirect.ca seems to run decent deals on jump drives. I have heard usb inputs are picky at times. I would recommend sticking to Lexar or another major brand. Here is a 4GB usb jump drive for $80.00.
