It depends what vehicle. What you are getting is called alternator whine. Always check what is under the part of the body you are drilling into. You do not want to dril into your gas tank.

yeah make sure your well aware of what's around the hole above and beneth.... what kinda car is it???

I usually go through the wheel well...sometimes you can even tie into the frame which is good but not necessary....make sure no paint or rust on surface......and maybe check to see if the RCA's are run on the opposite side of the car from the power wire

Okay, i tried a few bolts in the trunk, i guess it's time to drill a hole....How do u tie into the Frame???

It's a chevy cavalier....

Find a spot above a frame rail... drill a hole...pop a bolt in and maybe some locktite and your laughin,....if its a unibody guess its hopeless, not too sure what type frame the cavelier have though

Better yet I got a better idea just run a second run straight to the battery and ground directly best all around way to go!!!
