help with dvd head unit

i have a panasonic dvd head unit. it has this dumb lock on it so you cant play dvds while driving, only when the parking brake is engaged. i was told that you can bypass the whole parking break thing so the dvds will play all the time.... if anyone can help me please let me no how.

thanks

There is a way to do it, but be forewarned: it is illegal of course to be watching movies or videos while driving, weither you are watching them or your passenger is. If it is in your field of vision, then pay up.

When your parking brake is set, there is a lead that grounds out, causing your parking brake light to light up. The unit also waits until the parking brake is grounded. So, you can ground the parking brake lead from your unit on a piece of metal or the chassis ground. Some units need a switch inline of the ground, and you have to flick the switch to activate the ground.
