help help
Here’s my problem. I have three different amps. Alpine mrd 500 Rockford 301 and an alpine 1005. Every time I hook up ether alpine they will hit for a second or two then they come up with an error code “current” or e-3 . I even try my friend Pyle 1400 amp and it just blows fuses, but my old Rockford with out a fuse runs fine. Now I’m running 4 gauges from my battery and a 4 gauge ground. I even tried two different caps to see if it would help. I just don’t know any more please help I feel like a dumb a$$.

Not really enough info here, but i'll take a wild guess based on what you wrote so far....
The kaption is a dual voice coil sub? 2 ohm each? You've got them in parallel for a total 1 ohm load?
Then you've got the hooked up to an amps that have a minimun 2 ohm load?
Hmmmm, that might not make sense, since you said the rockford amp works. I'sn't it 4 channel? Bridged to 2? How did you hook that up where it worked?
Is the Battery charged? Some amps will go into overcurent shutoff if voltage is low..

all the amp are one channel momo blocks. the sub is wired red to red black to black then to the amp. my cap and meter both say that im running 14.78v and buring a load before they cut out they read 13.22v the battey is new.
