Well i just installed my amp today and there's alot of LOUD noise like the amp noise but it's not comming from bad wiring route from amp since won't increasee when i accelerate or anything it's damn loud seems to be comming from the deck's RCA out not really sure what's wrong it was working perfectly before i install the amp. It makes the noise louder when i turn on the boost from the amp and makes a loud "blick sound when i pwr off the deck, i have tried to play with the wiring abit to see if it's from the wires but the noise remains the same btw i have a macvision indash dvd player again it was perfectly functional till i hook up with the amp. please help

 

Check your ground connection. Make sure it's secured tightly to the body and is on bare metal. Upgrade your RCA's to high performance ones (twisted with shielding etc)...

 

make sure your remote connection is connected properly. If its connected to something other than the h/u then sometimes is can make a speaker pop noise when starting and stopping. Also for noise make sure your rca's are on the opposite side of your vehicle. If this is for subs then don't worry about it then there's something else wrong but if you are amping speakers keep them separate side of the vehicle than the power wire. Some rca's are also directional so check that. If you have the direction on the rca's set wrong you can get noise from that.

 

Check all the connections on the amp, a frayed speaker wire may be shorting or something stupid like that. These problems are usually caused by overlooking a minute detail.
