Help with proper wire installation

Please forgive me if the questions I ask may sound silly but I'm in no way educated when it comes to installation and I want to do it right. Here is what I have,

2 Infinity Reference 1260W Subwoofers
SVC 4 Ohm 300 Watt RMS Each

AMP-Infinity Reference 1600A
RMS Power Rating,
4 ohms: 400 watts x 1 chan
2 ohms: 600 watts x 1 chan

The Subwoofers are in a sealed box. My question is, how do I wire these to the amp. I don't understand all the tech jargon, wiring down to 2 ohm's, etc... I just need to know what wire goes to what terminal etc....The speakers are currently in the box with each speakers positive and negative going to there own positive and negative terminals on the box. Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks

I've seen that before and it doesn't make sense to me. For example, I have my 2 subwoofers, 1 left and 1 right. Both subwoofers are hooked up to there respectful side to the inside terminals in the box. + to + and - to - both sides. Now I'm left with the two terminals on the outside of the subwoofer box.
The one side being + - and the other + -. That's where I'm lost, how to wire the outside from amp to box?

ok so if your trying to use both sets of terminals on the box , wire the pos to the pos on the box , and the neg to each neg on the box , then run a jumper over from the pos terminals on the outside of the box to the other pos terminal , same goes for neg , , then run a wire from pos , to pos on the amp , and neg on , box to neg on amp , its really that simple

otherwise use 2 terminals on the box instead of 4 , on the inside run your pos from each sub to one set of pos on the box , same goes for neg , either way it will give you 2 ohm
