Help!! Subwoofers wont turn on

OK, so i have 2 12' pioneers. The deck will turn on and the stock stereo will sound fine. Also the Amp will turn on. When the Subs stopped working, i bout a better Amp, that didn't work so i got better wiring and the subs are still not turning on. The only thing i didn't re-wire is the RCA audio Cables and the remote turn on. Would that make a difference? Need new subs? Fried Wires or fuses? Any information would help. I'm new to car audio and am still learning.

If the amp is turning on then the remote turn on is working, check the sub with a dmm to see if it's burnt (dc resistance on the sub terminals), check for loose wiring in the box and also check the rca cables.

If your going to get a multimeter don't buy too cheap, if you buy too cheap, the meter will not test impedance properly. Cheap multimeters can have resistance on the test lead cables themselves and will affect the reading of your subwoofer impedance. If your shoping for a meter be sure to get one that has a continuity setting, that will help in testing your rca cables.

OK, Just tried changing the output on the HU, No luck. Spent 2 hours rewiring new RCA wires and still nothing. Maybe I have a blown fuse or my wiring it wrong? How much would it cost me to get it checked out? Seems like the last option.

have you tried to reset the headunit? take off the faceplate and press the reset button(this will erase any eq settings) Try that.
