Hey thats not Where I put the box..

Ok I'm having a issue with my crazily HEAVY box sliding around in my trunk....
I have plans on resining the carpet and maybe adding a 1/4 inch sheet of MDF under the carpet. and then making a slot for the box to fit in, My Ghetto fix right now it a ratchet strap..

1. What is the best thing to resin the carpet ?

2. What have you done to secure your box ?

3. I am totally against drilling ANY thing into the trunk floor... So don't even Suggest it.. LOL

thanks in Advance

Velcro won't keep the enclosure from killing you if you get into a collision. It's as dangerous as the people that set their rear speakers on the rear deck without installing them IN or TO the rear deck.

Seriously Im not trying to lecture you just make your car a bit safer to you (and anyone else who rides in it).

Put some covers over those subs, and if you want an easy-temporary fix, cut 2 pieces of wood 1" x 4" x "?and put them on the floor infront of the subs going to the back of the trunk, the same for the sides. You could even get a strap and put it along the bottom of the box and tighten it up and hook it to something near the back seats. My XXX weighs 80lbs and my box is 1" MDF, it's a bitch to move around in the sunfire, one time I stopped too fast and the whole box shot out of the trunk (seat down) and was stopped by my amp, if I had had the box the other way, goodbye XXX.
