hifonics wiring help

hifonics wiring help

i have the hifonics
BXI 2010D
Super D-Class
1 x 650 W @ 4 ½
1 x 1300 W @ 2 ½
1 x 2000 W @ 1 ½

and i have two pioneer dual voice coil 4 ohm subs how do i hook it up to one ohms on this amp?

Parallel the coils on each driver and do it again for the subs......

i'm new to this but the way the hifonics amp is i never hooked it up on something like this b4 can u show me like on a diagram? thanks

here is the way to wire it according to what bigredguy said, parallel coil and subs which would give you a 1 ohm load with 2 dual 4 ohm subs.

hi hifonics amp have two terminal of - - + +
here's a diagram from hifonics i have it hooked up the way it shows to hook it up with one sub at 2 ohms but now i got another sub i want to hook them up at one ohms it shows for two subs to use both terminal and parallel them but i have no clue how to wire the subs and how to connect it to amp by useing both terminal

OK so you are going to take each speaker and take both positives and connect them together, same with neg. So you now have 1 pos and 1 neg wire from each speaker. Hook them up to the pos and neg on the amp and wire the pos and neg from the other one to the other 2 on the amp. Done.

Wire the coils on each sub as shown in Spawn-Inc's diagram.......+ to + and - to -

The connections on the amp are paralleled inside the amp.....if it's easier for you connect each sub to a pair of terminals.....it will be fine.....

um, which subs do you have? you're going to risk blowing them up.

food for thought seeing as you said you're new to this whole world. setting an amp correctly can be a tricky thing to do
