How to bridge a Pheonix GOLD titanium 600.2 properly?

Information on my system is located on this thread:

http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/online/general-spl/29886-own-subwoofer-enclosure-will-new-amp.html#post274595

I am in need of help for somone to explain what and how I connect this amp instead of my old one to become Bridges at 4OHM - 600 RMS thanks.

To properly bridge that sub you will take the positive wire from the first output to the subwoofers, and the negative return to the negative connection on the SECOND output. Then all you need to do is make sure your subs are providing 4 ohms of resistance, as this amp is not 2 ohm stable.

Do you have the CL12D2 or CL12D4 subs?

I have, CL12D4 can you please give me your aim or msn that you can guide me through, Ima newb and would like to get it wired today...

I'm at work until 5:30 MST :) So no MSN here.

If you have the D4's, here's how you want to wire them (sorry the image is tiny, but it's straight from the Kaption manual for those subs).

97'scort 09-17-2007 05:52 PM

Thx appreciate it alot, maybe its easier for me to Take a pic of my other system, like how the wires go from my old amp, and all you can do is tell me what wire (color) goes to what slot on the pic of the new amp.

Hey, sorry for bailing on you earlier. An IT guy came down just as I was typing my reply and informed me that they're cutting off my internet since apparently I use it too much at work. :bs: Oh well. If you still need a hand let me know.

I kinda deserved it at this point. It was starting to get bad. I'm so bored with the stuff I do I always find myself wandering on to one of these forums. It's not like I didn't get stuff done, I've never missed a deadline or even been in a crunch for one. But they're looking for me to use my time better and so be it.

But if they keep loading me up with this dry-as-a-popcorn-fart work, it won't be a problem because I'll leave for another company. Mechanical designers are in such high demand here that I could have another job in quite literally 5 minutes.
