on the 2.2 yes. the 2.4 is very tight, a little more involved.

Don't worry about it..
Well as it stands, the alternator I have right now is 115 amps (supposedly stock, I had it replaced by cdn tire once). As for the size of my system, I think its a bit bigger than the average. The fuse rating on my class D alone is 180 amps and I'm about to add a second amp (not sure how large though)...Should I still worry about the "big three"??

just remember that back in "car audio yester years", there were no such things as big three`s and power caps (to my knowledge). when i started this hobby 20+ years ago i had multi amp systems than ran no problem off the stock electrical system. i even had a friend that ran a free air sub system in the back of his grand national, 2 12`s and 2 10`s mounted to the back seat. as memory serves his electrics were all stock.

best thing to do is run ur system and see what happens. try to use the largest ga wire as possible and follow all the proper grounding procedures.

if and when you experience severe dimming, or voltage drops than you could move into the next level: big three.

Thats back when only rich folks could afford an amp bigger than 200w.
