outta steel that is...i have done a few ...convirsions from 2 din to single din faces....turns out good

 

I dont think you need to fiberglass to make that...

1/4" mdf or something should do...you want something with high density

 

sorry guys but everyone is using the term fiberglassing too much here, really when it comes to that it used quite loosley. there would be many different types of material to fabricate that from abs plastic to some glass to mdf duraglass it all depenndson what will work best. no if there is a kit in germany or japan then i would go that route first. But if that was hand made then your going to have to find a shop that can do the same, We can do it no problem, and you will have to realize that there will be other quirks in the install other then just getting the radio in there ! have a great day
