could I just hook them up to the power then and put a fuse for them?

Edit: Wait a second then they would be on all the time. I'll look into doing what you suggested...but i'm slightly confused.

Maybe if I label the picture it will help.

Oh! when you're getting a transistor, to be consistent get an NPN transistor, not PNP.

hope this worked

this will use the 12 volt of the car to run the fans and the remote wire will tell the fans to turn on only when the radio is working

DocShay 07-22-2008 09:05 PM

Couldnt...I simplify this even more by just tapping into my remote antenna wire?

danyman 07-22-2008 09:10 PM

the fan will only run when the radio is engaged

danyman 07-22-2008 09:10 PM

or just run 12 volt to it and get a switch at the source so you can engage it yourself from the front

I would, but i'm worried i'll forget it one day and overheat my amp. Are you sure the radio antenna wire would ONLY be pulling watts when the radio portion of the decks turned on, and not when the decks on, with a cd or something?
