Clearly?......at the very least setting the clamp so it could not short out the battery is the obvious answer......I carry tape, a small selection of tools and back-up bits and pieces at all times.

Anyone who drives in Canada without some backup supplies with them are the same people who make tow-truck operators happy.....

lol just trying to make a point my friend. I doubt the pic in the OP was anything more than a quick fix in a dire situation. One we would all resort to in a pinch.

Hell, if i had to do that, i would have taken a pic and posted it as well. That ****'s funny as hell lol.
