Thumbs up

Well i finally installed my stereo!!! i know you're probably thinking " so what!". But i've always just been a by stander and watched my husband. I guess i've learned. hahaha.. i think i did a good job. Now all i have to do is get some subs etc and do that. i think it's pretty fun. Maybe one day i will build my own spl vehicle and compete. It won't be as fabulous as my husbands, but oh well! anyways just thought i'd share that cause i'm sooo happy. bye for now and take care

Thx the orginalteam 8 track!!! i use to think it was so hard but when you actually do it yourself it's so simple. the easiest part was gettin another Chevy harness and putting all the wires together.. lol..then putting it all together.. my husband was impressed.lol. he thinks just because i turned 28 that i forget like an old lady..hahahaha.. anyways my next step is gettin some subs and attempting to make a box and installing them.. anyways take care. bye

I was in a major electronics retail store in the car audio section (bad place to be I know) anyways, husband & wife looking at stuff, wife wants a new radio for her car, meanwhile husband is looking 1000watt amps, big subs, the works, just completly ignoring his wifes simple demands, the point? no point just seemed amusing

well i actually found it pretty funny.. anyways i'm going to be starting on my box soon. i don't know how it will turn out considering i don't have a shop to work in.so i will have to do things on my balcony etc. i was thinking about doing just a plain vented box but now things have changed. i guess it will be trial and error for me. It's going to be basically a folded horn design. but i don't know how it's going to turn out just for the fact that i have a 93 chevy cav and i will be doing this in the trunk. well my husband believes in me so i guess that't all that matters. bye for now and take care until next time..hahahahaha..lol....cheers

i can't wait to hear it, are you using winisd as a box program or are you using a previously designed box, either way the outcome should be cool(home depot& a cut list )(gotta luv my home depot boxes ).
are any of the family coming to worlds??i'll be out there doing both idbl & dbdrag.L8r.Rob.

well good luck and the worlds eh!!!!!! we're rootin for ya... I'm not sure if anyone will be going or not.and yes home depot..LOL.hahahaha!!! Anyways The design isn't from a program at all.. I made a design of my own and went over it with pat. Made a few adjustments and it's all set, now i just have to go get the stuff. I'm lookin forward to it and am excited but a little nervous at the same time. Inside of the folded horn will be a series(or at least that's what i think it's called). it will consist of 8ft of 2inch abs pipe, 8ft of 3inch abs pipe and 8ft of 4 inch abs pipe. So i will start off with the 2 inch and work my way up to the 4inch and so on.. don't want to give toooo much away.hee hee.. anyways take care rob and again good luck at the worlds.
