Thumbs up

I started building my first sealed box today out of 3/4" MDF and after a few hours of work I now have a newfound respect for all of you that do custom boxes.
Maybe I found it a little harder becuase it was my first attempt and the table saw we were using we had trouble squaring up but it was a 7 out of 10 for difficulty. I was expecting it to go a little smoother
anyways, I will certainly appreciate all those custom boxes from all you just a little bit more so don't be afraid to posts pics of what you've built

Dont worry, by the 4th or 5th one you'll be a pro

Be sure to make that sucker airtight and let the sillycone dry overnight before putting the sub in, the fumes can damage the woofer.

Let us know how it sounds

I used outdoor silicone for my first subwoofer-box, had no problems with it, it´s still running in a friends car.
Make sure that the silicone is completely dry before mounting the woofer, as already said above.

A combination of wood glue amd saw dust makes a better seal, and cheaper.
Silicone can emit fumes that will dissolve some glues in the manufacturing of the speaker.
