Sure we can.....

More info on the vehicle, budget constraints and how much space inside the vehicle you are prepared to live without would help.

Welcome to the CCA board....

Bumjack, hahaha, I have not heard that one before. (not laughing at you WD21). You have some good options for your system. As a vendor and a specialty retailer I can build systems suited to your needs. While pricing will vary depending on equipment, with your budget a good system is attainable as well.

Would you consider one darn good 12" over two basic 12"? Your sub and box budget is a little weak at $400.00 for two 12" but it is attainable at the same time. THe quote of "MAXIMUM noise" and $400.00 do not really go in the same sentence all too well. Consider this carefully. Two 12" can hit $400.00 with ease, same with one darn good 12". After that, MAXIMUM noise is all about the box. Choose a basic prefab box and you will get moderate results for the most part, build the box or purchase a spec box for that sub and the results will change dramatically, especially in the MAXIMUM noise department.

Amps can be chosen once the sub(s) are chosen. Then we can look at a amp for the front speakers to try and get them to keep up with that overwhelming bass coming from behind the seats.

please don't goto xscargo you won't get any noise with that crap, get a decent 12" sub from rob, he knows what hes talking about. Just an example a friend of mine went the 'CHEAP' way and purchased the 2 12" visionik Subs in the plexi enclosure and some sony amp from fs.... in the end he couldn't get the subs to work, lost his money on that and went and bought a clarion sub and mtx amp in the end.

[Edit]
iirc at Visions they had 2 10" Kickers in a kicker enclosure for just under 300$ seen them their last month on sale. Just a Suggestion.

That is the type of thing that people who aren't smart enough to come here and ask would do. First, someone with a lot of experience recommended to you that it would be a good idea to get ONE 12" not two. One quality speaker will make you a lot happier than two shitty distorting ones. Second, there is nothing sold at walmart that you want to but. Seriously. Third, if you are looking for a deal, wander over to the Classifieds section and see what's there. There is a ton of gear available for very god prices. True, warranty's and brand new are nice, but you are on a tight budget, and quality gear is a lot better than some $45 pioneer speakers that happen to have a warranty (and not much else).

Ummm.....no, not really.....

Having spent a fair bit of time over the last year building boxes and installing some of the Visonik, MA Audio and Clif Designs products that XS Cargo has sold since last spring, I can tell you the bandpass boxes they have left at this point are pretty sad. If you listen to music, you will be disappointed with the results. They are "1 note wonders" and the drivers sound much better taken out of those enclosures and put into a sealed or ported box.

For the money you are prepared to spend, you will be better off finding some decent used equipment in the classified section here and getting some help with the installation part from local board members.

find a kicker S15L7 or S15L5 used, and give it a cheapo MTX801D or something that matches impedence, that would get your van boomin for pretty cheap.

OR, PG Octane R 15", they hit pretty damn hard for the money (like $100 each) and dont take a power plant to run. (only 350-400rms IIRC)
