If raw cooling power if what you want, then for the same price you could get three or four computer fans that will probably put out 90cfm. Stinger fans are sexy I admit, but if its raw cooling you looking for, get a couple computer fans.

I just installed two fans for about 23$ total.
10$ for a relay
13$ for two fans

in total, they put out about 55cfm. pretty much the same for the stinger fan.

However, each to his own!

I've seen squirrel fans at Princess Auto. Wire 1 to push and 1 to pull.

pushing 500cfm of cool air and expelling 500cfm of warm air.

I use the same practice in my home.

if you exti hole for the hot air is big you set cold air fans up pushing cold air up and out though the exti hole/s the 2x 500cfm going one way will move more air in a house this set-up does not work well becouse the home is to big and to hard to get right. in your home me try to heat the home not get it cold if thats what we needed to do you would get some big fans at one open door and open the 2nd floor door see how the heat goes .if the doors are to far apart you may need to push & pull air but if the doors are close you get more bang for your $ with the 2 fans running the same way

i've never understood why people suggest push/pull or pull/push.... misinformation i guess? DWVW is right, you should do push/push or pull/pull to move the most air you can.
