I want to take my amp out but there are wires attached to it that are very hard to take out, there is four of them (2 on each side). I think its the speaker wires that connects from the amp to the speakers, or something like that.
Anyone know how to take it out?

How should I go about taking the amp wire out of the battery?

Disconnect the wire from the battery first.
If you have an in-line fuse (and you definitely SHOULD have a fuse) remove the fuse first. That way no power will be at the amp when you remove the wires.

As for the rest of your post, I have a few questions:
(1) Where/how is the amp mounted?
(2) What makes disconnecting the difficult? (typically, you simply unscrew the terminals and voila!)

If the amp is mounted in a difficult location to work with, I suppose you could always cut the wires, remove the amp and then disconnect the wires from the terminals with the amp on your work bench.

I am curious as to what makes this removal difficult.

what I find hard is that there are four wires that are connected to the amp that I think go to each speakers, that one is hard to disconnect.
Should I just pull the wire for the battery and leave the wires dangling or take the wires out?
btw. the amp is mounted behind the woofer box!

What I want to do is take all the wires off and then only leave the amp and the sub...

hope it makes sense!

hey bro,

I just want to take these things out of my 88 Accord and put it in into my 95 4 DR Integra...
since no one is offering me a reasonable price for these (deck, amp and sub and also speakers)...I will keep them and hook them up to my Integra...spent a $1000 on these....bought it two months ago....
thanks!
