Install in a Mustang hatch
i am looking at installing 4 10W3's into the hatch of my 1988 Ford Mustang LX. I was looking for some ideas to make the cleanest install possible, and if it is possible, without dabbing into the fiberglass aspects of it. I would like it as clean as possible, so it looks like right to the interior in all aspects.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Not necessarily a fancy box. He could fire the woofers up, then all he would need is 20" x 20" and install them in a 2x2 grid. Or, if he doesn't have 20" of depth, say only 15", he can stagger the mounting. Like this:
O--O
-OO
and the lower two can squeez up as close as necessary to the top 2.

Sounds like you already have a plan...sounds good to me. By the way, nice car. I too have an 88' LX 5.0. Haven't tried the 4 10's ever before though. The most I can fit in there with room to spare is around 4.3 cuft. Still gives a little room too. If you really pused it, I am guessing upwards of the 6 cuft area.
