install pics

Well I just finished doing soming of my installs in my 06. After finding a post showing a stealth amp install I installed mine in the same spot. I have a perfect size amp for the location and it fits really well. The amp is several years old but I still like it very much, it is only 200w, but enough for my listening pleasures. I liked the stealth idea becasue I am going to be doing a spare tire sub.

This car is so easy to do steroe modifications. I am getting so excited the more work I do. I have had other cars be such a pain to chage the head units, run wires etc. I guess subaru expects this kind of things and makes life easier for us.

I was thinking of putting in some fans but I was also going to wait and see how the amp behaves. I have had the amp in much worse locations without a fan and it was fine. Any place in the GTA anyone know of to pick up fans? Also how do the fans work (what do they run off of?)

I am running 4 pc fans to cool my stealth install and it works fine but I want it to look better so I had my partner( works at a pc store) order me 4 newer ones with nice crome grills and blue neons in them and they are only $10 each.

How do the fans run, are they wired to same power as the amp?
