I have a new 6 pack to unload but finding the control head that Paul was talking about might be interesting.

Model number is the CRA-1656sp. It hasn't been made in over a decade. Luckily I have a NIB one for my next car Only goofy thing is the remote doesn't control volume, just the main unit does. Alpine had a couple of older models too but they all take the old changers.

Pioneer had one, the DEX-M400 that went one step further with offering an optional tuner so you didn't need a factory deck at all. There's one on ebay right now including the tuner (super rare on it's own) and a changer. Gotta watch this setup as it takes the M series changers which they haven't made in some time.

Clarion and Kenwood both offered them too back in the day. Funny how all these manufacturers offered these things when replacing a factory head unit was easy but now that it is getting harder and harder, nobody offers one..
