installer amp recommendation

Hello All,

I'm getting this 4 channel amp from futureshop for $299

http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...0074271&catid=

To run these speakers

http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...gon=&langid=EN

off a nissan x-trail factory deck.

Question is do I need line level connectors to hook up my factory deck to this amp...it says this amp has them built it?

Also the kid at Future Shop says this amp kit should do the job...since I'm only powering 4 6 1/2 speakers? He's going to sell them to me for $39.99..normally $99

http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...0014197&catid=

But he wants me to pay $89.99 for installation...is this a good deal for a 4 channel amp?

I already own the speakers..just need the amp, wires and installation...do you guys trust future shop to install amps? IF not can some recommend a decent installer in Oakville or Brampton please.....all the guys i go to are giving me different quotes and saying i need this and that....

Also is there any downfalls of having the amp under the drivers seat?..It's not a power seat...and do they need to remove my seat to do the install??

my brother had futureshop install his system. they used smaller wires then i would. for example 500Wamp running smaller then 8 gage wires to the amp from the battery... he had 20a fuse as well.

i personally wouldnt trust futureshop with install, but then again i never dealt with them before.
i know there are a few abby guys from futureshop that are spoken highly off but u arent local to them.

i go to audiovideo if im not able to do the work myself. they installed my speaker amp for 100$ and bypassed my factory installed amp as well
but their prices for install accessories are definatly higher then futureshops but higher quality i find.

btw why dont you check ebay or craigslist.
you can find 4channel amps for way cheaper then 300$.
and you can get some1 local to install it for cheap, maybe even some1 from this board.
btw my dad found 4 channel kenwood amp at a thriftstore for 10$ ;it works perfectly and is going into my brothers car.

It really bugs me when people bash installers from FS, BB or other stores.

Here's a quote:

"my brother had futureshop install his system. they used smaller wires then i would. for example 500Wamp running smaller then 8 gage wires to the amp from the battery"

Have you even considered that most of the time it's the customer who's too cheap to buy the proper gauge wires or they come in with their own 10gauge Walmart special wiring kit and don't take the installer's or sales advice about upgrading their wiring.

platinum300m im not bashing any1
im just saying of what happened
you are right alot of times people are too cheap but that setup was recommended by the store. so whoever installed it said "you wont need any bigger then that" which i disagree with
im sure there are alot of great guys that work at FS and do installs and of course there are useless once that work there as well.

if you want ill take pictures of his long @ss deck wiring, long and thin subwoofer wiring and post it here for you to see. Joe blow FS installer from Calgary did a crappy job.

but yeah sanj101ca DONT GET 300$ speaker amp that is a waist of $.
so many other places/people can give you a better deal.
