Interior Lights Remain On After Installing Head Unit
I just installed a Sony CDX-GT310 head unit into my '88 Bronco II and afterwards I realized that the interior lights don't turn off any more, even after the car has been off for a while. I have disconnected the battery for now so the battery is not drained, as it is late in the day and I'm out of sun light, but I would like some help in figuring out what is causing this.
Also, there were are two wires in my truck that did not have a match on the head unit, one wire is the "car radio illumination wire" and I have not been able to figure out what the other wire is, all I know is that it's orange with a black stripe down the side.
Another thing: I had the head unit installed before and this problem didn't seem to exist. The only thing that has changed is that I've grounded the head unit. I say this because I realised that my `Ground` point was not actually grounded because the screw that I had connected it to wasn't grounded.
Any help would be appreciated greatly.
