So as my first real tackle at something I've never done I decided to mold my deck into my dash..... what I plan to put in there is an Eclipse CD5000...

I used a GM1583 from Scoshe and sanded it and the dash piece with 80 grit then placed the kit inside taped it from behind and the front and went to town



I used this plastic stuff to fill in the cracks and later i'll be filling it in and painting it the same color as the oustide of the car......

So I was wondering how a CD5000 would look in my car..... So I took one off the board and tossed her in.....

 

That pic makes it look like you have a deck held in your dash with bubble-gum

 

HaHaHa, I never thought about it LMAO!

 

so here's what I've gotten done so far..... almost nuttin! but it's all sanded and ready to be filled and then sanded with 100grit all the way up to 220grit!!!
