Hello,
I need someone to build me the mounting baffles for my kick pannels. they will be the normal tear drop shape.
i need this since i don't have the tools to do it myself and can't rent a router.
of course i am willing to pay for it...

You can do them with a jig saw too. It doesn't have to be a router.

Ya man, it can still be done with a jigsaw. Just take your time and do it right. You can use hole saw's for the tweet and if you have one big enough, the mid too.

I'm using Scan Speak revelator 4.5" mids and canton 25mm tweets... why do you ask?? you wouldn't by any chance be whipping some up for me would you?? [img]smile.gif[/img]

Well I have two teardrop templates right now. One fits a 4+tw and the other either up to a 6+tw.

What is the outside diameter of the 4.5" driver?

it is 4.6 inches (116 milimitres to be exact)

I;m looking to build the kicks with grills and make them look stealth...
so i would need the tree piece set-up as in the link below...

This page: http://www.sounddomain.com/id/sux2bu99 shows an Avenger and a Daytona both made with my pattern.

The Avenger has a 1/4" wide wood grille ring and the Daytona has an 1/8" thick bristol board grille ring. I prefer the wood really. My particular jig makes the grille ring 1/2" wide but it can be made narrower.

I'll check the overall diameter my 4/tw jig will fit.

Hey,
the 1/4" one sounds good (i'm assuming its abut 1/2" thick?)... perhaps having the mounting baffle be 1/4" thick would work too...

what can you whip up?
