So once I get my battery I was thinking of having at least 6 runs of 0 gauge wire to a 1750 battery. Anyways how do you even run that much wire? I know you hotta cut intO your firewall. But do you cut individual holes for each one or one big hole for everything? Also isn't it bad to have that big of a hole in your firewall?

 

you make one hole.

fill it with foam once all the wire is through.

this is mine, luckily I had ac, but now don't do I just pulled my ac lines, and made the hole larger, then ran my wire.

luckily behind my heater I had enough room to run my wire and still maintain my heater functions, (and I just blocked off the ac holes in the heater itself)

 

Well I might as well ask so I know. How do you hook all those wires up to battery? I know you use a metal plate longer enough with a whole bunch of holes for the wires but could someone post a few pics of their setup so I have an idea? I got a diesel and my battery is huge and the terminals actually go into the battery instead of sticking out. Also what kinda metal has the best conductivity for this setup?

Well I used two copper flatbar stock, dont have pics of it, but its generic.. and ring terminals, then in the rear I used similar setup,
And its better to ask then do it, and ruin some electrical if its done wrong...

but really, the way you'd hook it up to your battery depends on the types of posts on that battery.

you can hook up all the wire to a flat copper or alum strip, and then you'd hook up that strip to the battery terminal.

 

Sounds simple enough. Yuli did you make those urself or store bought? They are pretty amazing lol

 

i bought the copper and someone on this site actually built those bars.
