soon to be up on the goodies list is a DVD combo with an LCD screen.. so I was wondering what is the best combo out there for a budget minded person.
I was at London Drugs gettings Perscription filled and I was looking around.. and saw their God-awful car audio section.. but they had a Pyle screen along with a Pyle DVD unit.. both were priced at $230 each. So is that a good combo? I want something good... but cheap.. .with a REALLY good CD player.. my car is an mx6. so I think a 7" would work (the normal width for a CD/tape unit)

You'd probably be a lot better off buying something like This

 

on ebay right now is a kenwood 910dvd player and a kenwood flip out screen for under 100 bux. got a few days left on the bid though, but they would be sweet stuff. i've got the z910dvd myself and enjoy it a lot

 

If you have a double din stock deck then there's a guy on here who is selling a kenwood DDX-7015 for $950 shipped. Thats an excellent deal for one of those and they fit flush into your car no spaces and the screen stays low and doesn't pop up. I've got a pioneer avh-6600 and that has amazing color and brightness on the screen. I'd go with either a pioneer or alpine dvd screen deck. They seem to have the better screens on them.
