Running stock head unit and want to install a speaker amp for more volume. Question is since I'm running my sub off the rear speakers will installing a speaker amp and using the high pass filters mess with my sub input.

Usually I just install a new deck and do away with the converter but I like the stock look so I'm trying this out and have no experience in the matter.

As long as you're pulling the signal from the factory speaker lines BEFORE the speaker amplifier you will be fine. If you tap in to the speaker lines after the amp you'll have issues.
