How would you go about doing this?
If I had a box made for a 12" Kicker L7 and wanted to fit a 10" Kicker L7 in it, how would I go about accomplishing that? What kin of adapter bracket would I have to make and how would I make it? Thanks for any input

Make a new front baffle (3/4"mdf?) with the proper cutout and glue / screw it on the existing front.

just cut the a piece of 3/4 mdf to fit your new 10" sub. Then attached that piece to the front of your box over the 12" opening so that your 12" box is now for a 10"
