masking tape off of fiberglass?

how do you do this? it kinda sux when you make a nice box but then when you pull it up(not that you ever really do that tho) you see all the masking tape... so how do the pros get the tape off, or do you guys just leave it on?

oh and i saw a fiberglass box, and the fiberglass had bubbles in it(kinda big bubbles too), so do the bubbles effect performanc at all?

YOU DID put a release agent on the tape right? pva or wax?

Bubbles = less strength.

ha nope, didnt put a "release agent" on, really didnt think that it would screw with the glue the way it did. WOW was that glue stick after.

and thanks newb, but will there be any difference in sound?

What he said, how much the bubbles would effect depends on size, amount, how many layers you did, what layers they are in between, etc, etc...

Possible to have buzzing and other annoying distortions due to lack of ridgity and voids . Sometimes it is possible to inject epoxy into void space and fill 'em but its not as stong as if 1 solid mass .
