My SQ Install.. Finished.. Finally... (56k warning)

ok, here is the install that i did on my 1997 cavalier 2door, it consists of:

Clarion DXZ-635mp

CDT-HD-62 components (HD-6, DRT-25, 560)
MB Quart RA 2400 (200watts rms x 2) for components
Orion 1200D (1200watts rms x1) for sub
RE XXX 12" D2 Sub
3.5cu foot box tuned to 28hz
100sq feet bquiet extreme
stinger interconects, and various stinger wiring 1ga and 4ga wiring

it took me about a month to get everything done, but im very happy, i just wish my xxx was a bit louder, as my HD-62's can make you ears bleed...

the box wasnt that hard to tune, just had my dad help me bend the tape measure around the centre of the "u" joint and i was able to get the correct length. the box sounds damn good, nice and low, shakes the whole car, i just wish i coulda fit a 15" XXX in there... however the simply wasnt enough trunk space

I personally wouldn't call it an SQ car, but for a daily driver it looks good. now the fun part begins... hide all the wire, put in some trim panels, and tune that bad boy up!

What do you mean you can't fit a 15" XXX in there? They don't need a 6cu.ft. enclosure for a good sounding daily driver. 4.0-4.5net would be plenty in a ported design and that will easily fit in there.

On to what you have though; that bass end should be able to keep up to your front end just fine. If it isn't there is a problem with your design/settings.
