Thanks guys! It's actually quite functional... the false floor is split up the middle, so I can pull both sides out. The original floor carpet with hardened plastic base was scored along the front edge of the box so I could flip it up, and still get out my spare tire and tools!

Just for my own curiousity.. What material was used for the floor etc, and is it fan cooled ?

The wood is typical box mdf wrapped in vinyl. The embossed jl logo is vinyl, then glued, then wrapped in vinyl. There's no fans currently as the 500/1's and 300/4 have been rock solid in the heat.
