Agreed - the flare rate is the same. The 'outer' flare merely has a 1/2" flat lip around it for easier mounting.
PEI330CI - oh for sure they can be made it's just a bit of an upfront expense for a 1-1.5" radius roundover bit and the half inch router to use it [img]smile.gif[/img] The Megahertz line of premade boxes that Korbon distributes has manufactured flared vents in them.

If your using a precision port.. take the straight port length and subtract 5"s, this is your center tube length.
Once the port is fully assembled it should end up being 1" longer then the straight port length.
For example. lets say you need a port 15"s long.
The center tube is made 10"s long.
The TOTAL precision port should end up being 16"s long.

get a 8.5 inch straight pipe, and when you attach the flares to it the total lenght from one end of the flare to the end of the other flare should be 14.5 inches. Thats how he does it. I do it another way which i currently forgot lol.
