Need a battery suggestion for my system

Hi I have a JL Amp its 500.1 and it runs two JL w3 10 inch subs. I was wondering what suggestions the experts have for me for a battery to supplement my system.

thanks

Why do you think you need another battery?

thats not nessisarly a battery problem. but if your running an aftermarket stereo i would replace the stock battery anyways. your wiring or overall lack of power battery/alternator is to blame. someone on here will correct me if im wrong.

well obviously my alternator isn't cant provide the supply demanded sometimes from my amp, but that is no reason for me to get a new one. I just wanted a suggestion a small battery I can put beside my amp so that sometimes when I like to listen to my music loud for like 5 or 10 mints I have enough power so my alternator and electronics dont get over worked by that extra load. Also I remember there was a three point connection thing here people were talking about to get the electricity to flow better but I dont have access to my alternator I rather go the easy way and get an extra battery just for my amp.

go to powermastermotorsport.com and look into the powermaster batteries.. they are awsome or check them out on facebook. xs batteries.. scottie johnson is terrific with them for tech support.. i would also check out termpro.com and go to the batteries section. hope this helps

Adding another battery wont stop all the dimming. If your alt cant output enough current the voltage will still drop to ~12v. Adding another battery will prevent the system from going below 12v, but it will still drop below 14.4v that the alt puts out. If you're currently not going below 12v then a 2nd battery will do nothing.
