Need some quick answers please - installing system
Ok guys, my brother in law delivered a 'gift' this morning to me to install in a friend of mines car. The only problem is I have no idea what the gear is model # wise etc to see what wire goes where. So any help is great help if you could please and thanks! Along with what I could see as far as #'s and models I've included photos.
Pair of 12" subs = Image Dynamics - ID Series V3 tm D4 (Dual 4ohm?)
Amplifier = Kaption D 700.1 1ohm stable class D amp.
Gonna pick up the wiring kit and speaker wire later today, just need to know if either anyone can give me a site with the 'manual' on how to wire it up, whether it needs to bridged (I assume it does) etc. Would also be great to find out the specs on the subs specifically I was hoping when I took it outta the enclosure that it would say but sadly it didn't.
Thanks guys!!!

Teri - first off I would assume that the amp is a single channel amp from the 700.1 model number. It may have two sets of speaker outputs but they go to the same place inside.
You have 2 choices for wiring the woofers. You can parallel the coils on each one and hook them separately to the terminal cup or just follow that picture above and connect to one set of terminals on the cup and one set of outputs on the amp.

Teri - the amp is a basic 700rms@1ohm mono amp which is a fine power match for those drivers.
Wire all coils in parallel and just hook the positive of the speaker lead to the positive on the amp speaker out and the negative to the negative. Wiring all coils in parallel will give you the final 1ohm load you want. Enjoy!
