not sure what kind of amp to get

i got infinity 10"reference serioes sub. its rated at 250 rms. if i get an amp thats 300 rms would that be too much? should i go lower and wats the lowest i can go?

it should be fine. if your worried about burning the coil just turn the gain down a little

i was gonna get this: MTX THUNDER8302 425W 2 CH AMPLIFIER

Bridged Power (Watts x Channels):300 x 1

im a total newb in car audio thou so im not sure if that will work
