parrot bluetooth with eclipse avn6610 help!

Are you running the eclipse through amps?
I had a CK3100 running through aftermarket head units for about 6 years (until now) and had different head units and never had success getting audio out of the speakers through the amps. The Parrot is strong enough to drive it's own little 3 or 4" low power speaker though and it is loud when done that way. Then I just used the mute line connected to the HU to mute audio while on a call.

The parrot ck3000 kit that eclipse uses is horrible. Stay away from it at all costs. I had one in my last vehicle and no one could ever hear me on it. ever. It sucked. Plus it is not an integrated system like that of the kenwood or pioneer you have to have that little **** installed somewhere onto the dash somewhere.

The 3100 worked really well for me for many years when installed with it's own speaker. It was a complete stand alone kit, the only connection I made to the various HU's that I switched out over that period was the mute trigger. I probably threw 6 different phones at it over that time and it handled all of them well. Sound quality, phone book sync, voice dial, it all worked well.
