Phasing, etc.

So, that trunk open/closed thread got me thinkin'.
I have multi-speakers, multi-amps, and a whizzy head unit. I've got all the phasing set as best as I can figure for SQ.
If I can tweak things a bit using some of the advice here, I'll try it!
So, here's an aerial sketch of the speakers in my van:
- The pink speakers are 6x9's mounted in my front doors, blowing directly at each other (no tilting). These are hooked up to my V12 amp, normal phase, normal wiring.
- The green speakers are also 6x9's, mounted in the rear doors at half height, under the windows, facing directly forward. These are hooked up to my Clarion amp, normal phase, normal wiring.
- The blue speakers are mounted in the stock speaker locales in my dash board. They point at and bounce off the windshield. These are hooked up to my little Rockford amp, normal phase, REVERSE speaker wiring (+ to - and - to +).
- The red sub is mounted behind the middle seat (I don't have a rear seat) in a ported box doing about 33-32hz, cone and port facing straight up. It's connected to two Orion 1200d's, one to each coil. I have these running reverse (180) phase, with my HU phase switcher, not the one on the amp.
I have experimented, switching the sub phase back and forth, trying the box in various positions in the van - where it is, at the back doors, in the corners, facing up, facing forward, facing rear, etc. And the dash speakers I reversed the wiring on only recently, and it worked awesome, raised my stage a lot.
Since all my equipment is in my cabin, I have no trunk, I don't have the same issues raised in that other thread, however I do have other sound wave issues I'm sure.
So, any suggestions? Should I change something else I haven't thought of?

i would run less power to the
(- The green speakers are also 6x9's, mounted in the rear doors at half height, under the windows, facing directly forward. These are hooked up to my Clarion amp, normal phase, normal wiring.)
and the most power to the (The pink speakers are 6x9's mounted in my front doors)
can you move the pink so there more facing you ,then try to fade the L off a bit (so you hear = [L - R] NOT [L - R]

Ya I'm pretty happy with it all. If you close your eyes, it's a great soundstage setup, and the rear speakers are invisible, until you shut them off, that's when you notice they were on.
They sound weak with less power, these 6x9's have mondo-magnets on the back that need 100w as a minimum. I had them pulling 50 at first and they just don't keep up. Plus I open up the rear doors often (out at the lake for the weekend, or in the shop for a party), kill power to the front amps, and rock the beach all weekend
But, my fronts do have a little more power, I think this V12 does about 120x2 or so, I can get them really pumping. I really should mount them better, with a tilt, one of these days.
My HU has all the toys for tweaking soundstage, DTA, XO's, EQ's, SRS WOW & Dolby Prologic II for DVD's... With everything set "perfect" it sounds really, really good.
So, I'm pretty happy with it all I guess.

Hehee...
Well, as I said, reading that other thread on phase issues in that guy's trunk, just made me think "Hmm.... I wonder if could be doing something different, and/or better, with my existing gear".
So no, I don't have any real issues, just looking for suggestions I guess...

OKAY!!! I got an issue!!! eheheee...
So I'm building a new sub box soon, one that utilizes flared round ports. It is similar to my existing box in layout, it'll lye on it's back, with sub and ports facing straight up (this I've found previously is the best placement in my van).
Would mounting the sub upside down, so that the cone is in the box and the cage & magnet are outside the box to look prettier... would it improve, degrade, or not effect existing SQ/phase issues?

Inverting your sub shouldn't really make much difference, except for your box size, seeing as the sub is not going to be taking up airspace. Visual effect may be nicer, or worse, depending on the basket and magnet cosmetics.
But the best thing to do it try it and see if you like it or not.

Ya that's what I figured, it'll look cooler, drop the tuning note a point or two because of displacement changes, however SQ could be affected either way in a van...
Normal placement, the sound goes straight up, and then s out along the roof line, like a fountain does with water.
But flip it so the basket is out, and sound is being shot out at roughly a 45 degree angle, in all directions, plus the ports will still shoot straight up...
So yep, guess I'll try it upside down first...
